Introducing the new Propero 4 helmet. It combines the aerodynamics of the S-Works Evade 3 and the ventilation of the S-Works Prevail 3 with the comfort and safety you expect from Specialized helmets. It also received the highest 5-star rating from Virginia Tech for helmet safety. Every part of the Propero 4 is designed with speed in mind. In other words, aerodynamics + ventilation + lightness = speed.

Aerodynamics: The development of the Propero 4 focused on aerodynamics, with extensive testing using computational fluid dynamics and our own Win Tunnel. By applying the aerodynamic leading edge shape of the S-Works Evade 3 to the Propero 4, we were able to save 4 watts. Compared to the S-Works Prevail 3, this equates to a 15-second saving over 40km.

Ventilation: Inspired by the world-renowned S-Works Prevail 3, we set out to surpass it, not just replicate it. Ventilation was at the heart of our pursuit to create a helmet that balances aerodynamics and ventilation. We borrowed the design of the rear of the Prevail 3 to create new micro-channeling. This technology uses tiny grooves offset by 2mm to disrupt the airflow inside the helmet, ensuring fresh air is always on your head.

Attention to detail: The development of the Propero 4 was not just about aerodynamics and ventilation, but also about the finer details. It incorporates the features of S-Works helmets, such as MIPS technology for added security in the event of a fall, and a fit system that provides lasting comfort. The Propero 4 doesn't just meet expectations, it redefines them.
