The Colnago CLX is a bicycle which shouts youthfulness and appeals to both the young and young at heart. The CLX is not short of all those properties that make a Colnago a Colnago and in fact still is and will forever be a testament to Colnago’s workmanship and superior quality standards.

The CLX uses a monocoque frame design with its dropouts also made from carbon fibre. Coupled with an identical geometry as the V2-R, the CLX promises a balance between lightness, stiffness and comfort. Compared to its former design, the CLX has now an enlarged central tube that carries on to the bottom bracket juncture with a seat tube built for a 27.2mm seat post. This combination promotes both performance and compliance.

Unlike its bigger brothers, the CLX uses traditionally mounted caliper brakes allowing for the ease of maintenance and increase compatibility with most group sets in the today’s market. The CLX’s biggest achievement is in its Disc Specific frame. To keep up with the trend in today’s cycling industry, Colnago have redesigned the CLX Disc.

The CLX Disc boasts all of today’s current trends in cycling with updated tire clearances (up to 28c) and 12mm Thru Axle standards. The cables now run internally for the most part which gives the bike a clean and sleek look. The CLX will be offered as a complete bicycle with a choice of either the Shimano 105 Disc or the Shimano Ultegra Disc.
