Ideal for riders who value the comfort and thermoregulation benefits of superior ventilation, the S-Works Prevail 3 helmet is the ultimate all-around helmet that excels in the heat of summer, long, steep climbs and mountain stages.

In our quest to deliver the ultimate in cooling, we removed the foam bridge from the center of the helmet, which restricted airflow. This resulted in a vent with 24.5% more surface area than the S-Works Prevail II Vent helmet, making it the largest vent we've ever made. This creates channels that allow more air to flow around your head for a cooling effect.

When a helmet is impacted by a crash, it disperses the impact energy. In conventional helmet design, it was thought that the more foam (EPS material) used, the better the dispersion. So Specialized decided to take an innovative approach and completely rethink energy dispersion methods other than foam. AirCage is a technology that connects the left and right sides of the helmet with a cable woven from aramid fiber and fixes both ends of the cable to the carbon fiber side panel. When the helmet hits the ground in a crash, this technology absorbs the localized impact and disperses it throughout the helmet like a suspension bridge.

A rear adjuster allows for a custom fit for each rider's head shape. Angle adjustment allows for a perfect helmet-to-eyewear match. The length-adjustable Tri-Fix web splitter features 10mm narrower straps to minimize bulk around the ears and neck for superior comfort and fit. The ultra-lightweight Mindset micro-dial fit system is ANGi-compatible and now features height adjustment for improved dial grip for quick and easy adjustments.

Ultralight and ultra-comfortable, MIPS Air Node technology is built into the helmet's padding, not only does it have a low-friction layer to reduce rotational forces that can shake your brain, but our proprietary engineering process also creates a mesh that maximizes breathability, performance, comfort, and light weight.
