The D'Alusio Smartweld allows Specialized to keep the weight down and strength up in this aluminum XC frame. The frame's tubes feature continuously varied wall thickness to ensure stiffness where you need it without compromising comfort and control. The Chisel removes excess material and weight by integrating a seat tube pivot, main pivot, and bottom bracket shell into a one-piece hydroformed seat tube.

A 1x crankset paired with a modern, wide-range cassette provides all the gearing you need to crush the trails. With Shadow Plus clutch technology, the rear derailleur provides ample chain retention.

With a 120mm Rockshox Recon Silver RL fork and a 110mm X-Fusion Pro-02 shock, the Chisel provides the perfect amount of suspension for most trails. With kinematics based on the Epic 8, the Chisel is a trail eating machine.
