The Diverge Base E5 is built with a premium E5 Aluminium frame and full FACT carbon fork for a fast, stable and comfortable ride on roads, dirt and thick gravel. The Shimano Claris 2x8 drivetrain has a wide gear range for any terrain, and the Axis Elite Aluminium wheels with Pathfinder Sport 38mm tyres are efficient on the road and can handle hard-packed dirt.

■The Diverge E5 is a lightweight, versatile bike that can ride on any terrain, with a high-quality E5 aluminum frame that is stiff, light, and durable, and a full FACT carbon fork.

■No ordinary gravel geometry. The new Diverge has the most progressive geometry we've ever developed for a drop-bar bike, making it stable and maneuverable on dirt, and light and agile on pavement. The head angle has been slackened, the fork has a longer offset, and the frame's reach has been extended. This gives you a high level of stability that sticks to the ground on dirt. In addition, we've installed a shorter stem to maintain the overall cockpit position and agile maneuverability. The bottom bracket is low enough for stability, but high enough to fit 650b wheels.

■Multiple rack mounts on the fork, top tube, and more allow you to carry what you need, no matter how far or how long you want to ride.

■Nothing limits a bike's potential more than tire clearance. So, with the new Diverge, we made it possible to use tires up to 47mm on a 700c wheel, and up to 2.1" on a 650b wheel. We also used a special machined aluminum structure near the chainring on the drive side chainstay, allowing us to have enough clearance without having to use a fragile dropped design or extend the chainstay.
